Hill View

Domestic, Residential

New dwelling was designed as an upside down approach to the layout. All the living accommodation was upstairs to take advantage of the sweeping countryside views to the rear, all of the bedrooms were then located on the ground floor.

The client wanted the external wall to be “Field Edge” stone so in order to facilitate a very tight budget an innovative solution was sourced. Stone was imported from Ireland in 50mm thick bricks and then applied directly to the brick wall using a proprietary adhesive, The finish is that of a traditional stone building.
